February is heart month. The Columns will be participating in several special events to bring heart awareness to Centerville.
February 12th: we are sponsoring a JDRF fundraiser at The Columns. Rosemary Porter and her volunteers, will be back again by popular demand, selling fresh baked goodies to raise money for JDRF.
February 27th: The Columns will participate in the RED DRESS AFFAIR ON THE SQUARE. This event will increase awareness of women’s heart disease.
Vendor #3, Julie Mihalovich, is offering a 25% discount on any items you find with a heart: on it, attached to it, in the shape of a heart, any way you can possible make out a heart. Be sure and mention it to the sales clerk, you have found a heart, and you will receive the 25% off discount. This discount will apply to jewelry, purses, scarves, hats, rings, jewelry boxes, new gift merchandise, and etc.
This discount will be honored February 1st-14th. Sorry no sale merchandise or antiques include.

We have been adding new items daily to The Columns. Be sure to visit the new garden and floral room on the second level. It is an inspirational new room filled with garden items, garden signs, statuary, florals, fountains, and so much more, with many more items yet to come. Many of our recent shoppers have left us with comments like: “Spring has arrived up there”, or “It makes me want to get in the garden and start planting”, or “I cannot wait till winter is over”.
Our dip mixes sold out so quickly, most customers did not even get a chance to try them. This new shipment offers more variety then ever. Stop by soon, we will be sampling the dip mixes and pretzels on Saturday, Jan 30th and February the 6th.
